The Barn is now closed for the 2026 season.

If you have a reservation for dinner between October and Easter 2027 the Barn team will be in touch as due to an unexpected family emergency, the Barn will not be open at all this winter. We appreciate that this may be disappointing if you’ve planned a meal out at the Barn during your self-catering stay at Cologin. The Barn serves a range of food and is delicious to eat. Very reasonably priced and so worth booking. There is a log burning stove inside and out in the conservatory. They start serving meals at midday and non residents are welcome.
Had a fantastic New Years Eve at The Barn, food was excellent, atmosphere was great, the entertainment was second to none. This was the way to bring in the New Year. Fantastic well done Mary and staff.
Since I heard about "The Barn" some years ago, I have always spent a lovely Sunday afternoon there during my yearly holidays in Scotland. The place is unique: Delicious food and drink comes along with the sweet sound of the musicians who meet there completely relaxed on Sundays.
